Lakeshore churches unite in "Holland/Haiti Day"
HOLLAND, Michigan(January 14,2010) -- The Holland Area Prayer Initiative believes god has asked Holland to respond in a very specific way to the earthquake disaster in Haiti. Pastors, in cooperation with Mayor Kurt Dykstra, are calling on the people of Holland to act with mercy and give one day of wages to the people of Haiti for earthquake relief. People can participate in this swift response by designating a gift of one day’s wages to a relief organization of their choosing. |
